Job Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology, information systems, computer engineering, or similar.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle APEX development.
- Solid understanding of Oracle databases, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and AJAX.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Oracle APEX certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
APEX Development: Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications to meet business requirements. Create efficient and scalable solutions while adhering to coding standards.
Database Design and Optimization: Work closely with database administrators to design and optimize database structures. Ensure data integrity and performance of APEX applications.
Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand project requirements. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and APEX solutions.
Coding and Testing: Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code. Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure reliability, security, and optimal performance.
Integration: Integrate Oracle APEX applications with other systems, databases, and third-party tools as needed. Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.
Performance Tuning: Identify and resolve performance issues in APEX applications. Optimize SQL queries and APEX components for improved responsiveness.
Security: Implement and enforce security best practices in Oracle APEX applications. Ensure data protection, authentication, and authorization mechanisms are robust and up to industry standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for APEX applications, including design specifications, code documentation, and deployment instructions.
Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle APEX features, tools, and best practices. Continuously improve skills and share knowledge with the team.
